One beautiful evening gave me the chance to meet three other aspiring entrepreneurs from different industries.The meeting was first merely for a chit-chat with new friends while having an 'evening-tea' session outdoor..

We are always love to look for new business opportunities. This common passion we have has made the conversation getting hotter and longer, though we are getting wet as the day starts raining. We shared a lot of things and we tried to find ways to work together and improve our businesses.

Then throughout the conversation i learn a new term; 'COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE'. Community of practice or CoPs, are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. And most surprisingly is; in fact it is what was going on among us throughout the evening.

It's a new term for me. And what i figured out lately is that, the CoPs is the main idea behind this vNiaga.com platform development itself. vNiaga.com is always committed on connecting entrepreneurs around the world for sharing towards a better business for ourselves.

We have to teach people, sharing and helping each other to grow. For example; we must create the awareness among our society about the advantages/disadvantages of having their own websites and teach them some basic technical skills in the business in order to make our ICT businesses grow as a return. Or as simply as when we practice to exchange our clients. If not, how would you think you may make your sales faster?

CoPs helps us to expand our network of businesses. This CoPs helps us to grow our businesses faster when we have a network of people who are willing to help each other.

Who is an entrepreneur? Entrepreneurs are driven not by the need to make money, but by the need to make their dreams a reality.

Entrepreneurs are participants, not observers and players, not fans. And to be an entrepreneur is to be an optimist, to believe that with the right amount of time and money, you can do anything.

so....how do you define 'ENTREPRENEUR'?

Purely physical companies that perform most of their business offline, selling physical products by means of physical agents, are called the brick-and-mortar companies. These are businesses you can see on the real world like a grocery shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and other stores.
Virtual companies in the other hand is referred to companies that conducts their business activities solely online.
Click-and-mortar companies is the other type of companies that conduct some e-commerce activities but primarily conduct their business offline. For an example; those running a restaurant may want to offer online ordering service through a website.
Nowadays more brick-and-mortar companies are moving into click-and-mortar business concept.

E-commerce or electronic commerce (or internet business) is about buying, selling or exchanging products, services and information via computer networks or the INTERNET. Most of the time, these activities occurs on a website.

You visit many names of websites everyday for particular purposes. You enjoy yourself on Facebook or Myspace.  You buy things on eBay or Amazon or Clickbank. But have you ever dream of having your own website where you can take full control of it? And getting famous because of it? Think further and make it as a business!

Did you know? The becomingly more famous Facebook web-platform; it is more than just a social website. It's a BIG INTERNET BUSINESS for the founder of the Facebook himself (Mark Zuckerberg), and a 'gold mine' for the rest!

Basically, to start an internet business you will need;

• a credit card or a visa debit card or a bank account. Having a bank account in US is a good advantage and if you are a Malaysian, better apply for any credit card or a visa debit card (most recommended one is from Public Bank).
• a computer with an internet connection,
• maybe some image editor software like Photoshop or at least you know how to draw with Paint,
• an internet browser (Mozilla Firefox is one of the safest and fastest browser known and lately Google Chrome is much better),
• at least one email account, and don’t forget to keep the long and useful list of your friends’ emails. Get one from Yahoo!Mail (from Yahoo.com) or Gmail (from Google.com).

Everyone has started doing it. Internet business is getting bigger and bigger. Everyone wants to own the pieces of wealth on the internet. You and me as well. We are letting ourselves to be in the internet ‘busy’ness (that is how i call it). A lot of money there for you and me.

You do not necessarily need to learn on how to build a website, never too big like Facebook, Friendster, Youtube or Ebay. Understanding the most basic form of html scripting can bring you far enough into the journey of internet business. If you are not an ICT student, do not waste your time learning about web programming – things like java script, php script, asp script and so on. Those you can always learn later, if necessary.
